My First few days of my First visit to Onsite

After reading the title of this blog , you may feel surprised that how come i think of writing blog on this title as almost a year passed since i being to Onsite.Yesterday night , these memories jogged into my mind and then i decided to share my this experience with my loving audience.

I was very excited when i came to know last year May , that i m going Onsite . This news pumped up the blood level of my family as i was the first to go abroad and there was festive environment in my home due to this news .

Finally on Aug 29 2009 , i reached Ipswich, near London. As our plane was about to land on Gatwick Airport , my heart started pounding very fast not in excitement but in fear and the vast loneliness that was awaiting for me .

I was feeling very hungry , tensed and my pick up taxi also got late . I was without phone , don't know what to do , don't know how i informed my taxi driver that i am already in . No one was there to guide me , to help me out . I was feeling as i am in " NO MAN's LAND".

Finally i spotted out my taxi driver. At that time he is no less than a messenger of GOD for me . We started our hour and a half journey to Ipswich. I was so completely drowned in nostalgic feelings that even the side by Scenic beauty , pleasant weather failed to soothe me. I was just managing smile to veil my uncomfortability and homesickness from Taxi Driver.

Some how, my lonely Journey to Ipswich was over . But i did not know that more trouble , problems is waiting ahead for me The guy with whom i planned to stay was not in his apartment. Driver also left , i was standing outside the house in an alien lane . Helplessness , loneliness and above all an empty stomach , i think these traits are enough to make any person succumb to drowsiness . I was also just about to give up , then i saw a guy in the same apartment. He let me in and
offered a coffee.

You won't believe size of rooms here are so small that i started comparing them with our bathrooms . There was only one bed,no space even to unpack my luggage .JetLag and cold weather outside forced me to put myself inside blanket on the bed. But how can one sleep with an empty stomach and it is not India where you can get things you like very easily . So the only option remained for me is to Cook. I had never imagined that i have to appear in the cooking exam on very first day of my onsite . But there was nothing in the house for cooking , no vegetables , rice etc. Then a thing striked into my mind that my Maa has packed some rice ,cereal and spices for my initial days . Since the start of my journey , i was feeling excited for the first time as i was reparing my first ever dish-> namkeen rice. Some how i managed to boil and bring yellow colour onto rice. After eating,i slept .

The rise of next morning brought the same irritation , helplessness . I was missing my home badly , cannot even talk to my parents . I was feeling so lonely that i shouted over myself for coming over here .

But as we all know , time heals everything , same happened with me . As time passed , i familiarized with new faces ,places and today condition is that now i want to go back . I don't know what is the driving force for that -- but sometimes i
feel it is because of money !!!!!!
